Christina Aguilera Chairs Children’s Hospital’s School Contest 2000

Recording artist Christina Aguilera has teamed up with Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh to be the honorary chairperson for Children’s School Contest 2000. Miss Aguilera will personally visit the winning school.
The campaign is open to all elementary schools, middle schools and high schools in the region. All schools raising $1,000 or more will be eligible for the grand prize drawing. For every $1,000 donation, a school will receive one entry for the grand prize contest. For example, if a school raises $5,675.00 they will receive 5 entries to win the grand prize. Proceeds of these activities benefit the Children’s Free Care Fund which is used to provide care for children in the community who are uninsured or underinsured. Last year, 62 area schools raised more than $86,000.
