Directions to Camp Kon-O-Kwee
From Pittsburgh, take Route 19 north (to Zelienople) or Route 79 north to exit 83 (Evans City), make left, then follow 19 north to Zelienople.
Turn West (left) off of Route 19 at the Hotel Kaufmann on Routes 288 & 588.
Follow Route 588 west 5 miles to Camp entrance.
If traveling by Pennsylvania Turnpike, use Exit 28 (Cranberry/Perry Hwy), then proceed north on Route 19 as instructed above.
What to Bring
- Sleeping bag or bed roll (sheets & blankets)
- Pillow
- Towel and washcloth
- Personal Hygiene items
- Laundry bag
- Clothing for 4 days, (be sure to include warm clothing for evenings)
- warm pajamas
- Raincoat or poncho
- Waterproof boots, socks (required daily), mid-calf
- Shoes – 2 pair, tennis shoes preferably
- Swimsuit, beach towel, suntan lotion
- Hat
- Flashlight
- Bug repellant
- Backpack or small duffel bag
Optional
- Camera/Softball Glove/Activity for quiet time
- Please be sure your name is on your clothing and equipment
- Use tags of laundry marker
