Epilepsy Surgery Study
Retrospective Review of Pediatric Epilepsy Surgery Program
Protocol Description
This retrospective medical-record review aggregates and analyzes de-identified data of patients who have participated in the Epilepsy Surgery Program at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC for the last 15 years. Data to be analyzed includes pre-surgical work-ups, surgical procedures performed, outcomes including seizure-free statistics, neuropyschologic results and complications.
Eligibility Criteria
All children, ages birth to 21 years, who have had epilepsy surgery at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, will be included. As a retrospective review, enrollment is not required.
