How to Apply

All applicants to the Pediatric Residency Program at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
Applications are accepted and reviewed from September 1st through December 15th. Applicants who are selected to interview will be contacted via email. Interviews are conducted on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from October 25th through January 11th.
Applications must include the following:
- Complete ERAS application, including personal statement
- USMLE Scores – required from all applicants
- Dean’s Letter
- Transcript
- Curriculum Vitae
- Three (3) letters of recommendation
- Photograph for identification purposes at interview
International Medical Graduates must have the following in addition to the above:
- ECFMG Certificate
- One year, hands on clinical experience in the United States
