Our Philosophy
When Down syndrome touches a family, dreams need not be abandoned, just altered. Loving homes, early intervention, individually planned education, vocational training and preventive medical care each play an important role in helping people with Down syndrome reach their fullest potential.
Children with Down syndrome are first and foremost kids who have the right to attend neighborhood schools, take part in community recreational programs and contribute to their households. Adolescents and adults with Down Syndrome are individuals who have the right to work and live in the community, socialize with friends and contribute to home, work places and society.
