Pediatric Clinical and Translational Research Center (PCTRC)
Description of Services
The Pediatric Clinical and Translational Research Center (PCTRC), formerly, the General Clinical Research Center (GCRC), provides the opportunity for physicians to investigate childhood diseases in a controlled environment using specific research protocols. The PCTRC is located in the Main Tower of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC with facilities capable of accommodating both inpatient and outpatient settings. It is sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, National Center for Research Resources, headquartered in Bethesda, MD.
