Program Benefits

The PDF at right describes the benefits and salaries available for all University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Medical Education (UPMC ME) residents and fellows for the academic year 2010 to 2011.

In addition, all Pediatric Cardiology fellows enjoy these benefits:

EDUCATION:

Each fellow receives $1,000 to use for travel and book purchases.

Expenses are paid to attend one professional meeting.

Expenses are paid for presentation of any research paper.

VACATION:

Three weeks of vacation are allotted each year. These may be taken consecutively. In addition, a holiday schedule is followed during the Christmas/New Year season.
