General medical inpatient service (5 months)
Special medical inpatient (neurology, pulmonary, GI, Heme-Onc, Endocrinology) (3.25 months)
Pediatric Emergency medicine (1 month)
Normal newborn nursery (1 month)
Neonatal ICU (1 month)
Primary care/urgent care (1 month)
Weekly continuity clinic at CHP or community setting
Vacation (3 weeks)
Second year PGY 2:
Adolescent medicine (1 month)
Developmental- behavioral pediatrics (1 month)
Pediatric Emergency medicine (1 month)
Night Team – supervisory (1 month)
Neonatal ICU (2 months)
Specialty-supervisory blocks (2 months)
Pediatric intensive care (1 month)
General medical inpatient-supervisory (0.5 month)
Primary care – supervisory block (0.5 month)
Elective (1 month)

Child Neurology/NDD Residency
First Year PGY 3:
July didactic sessions (1 month)
Inpatient UPMC ward service (1-2 months)
Inpatient and outpatient clinic at VA hospital (2 months)
Stroke service (1 month)
Nightfloat (1.5 month)
Epilepsy monitoring unit (1 month)
Elective (2 months – see below)
Continuity clinic – weekly at John Merck Developmental Disabilities Clinic for adults
Vacation – 3 weeks
Second Year PGY 4:
