Kid-a-Palooza - A Festival for the Entire Family Presented by Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, Pa. - February 10, 2006 -

WHAT: Kid-a-Palooza, a festival for the entire family. Each year, thousands of Pittsburgh families escape the doldrums of winter to enjoy this indoor event and characters such as Dora, Spiderman and Curious George.

There are free indoor rides, tons of exhibits, crafts and oodles of entertainers. Kid-a-Palooza now offers more than 80,000 square feet of pure fun. The festival is designed to provide quality entertainment and education for all who attend.

Safety Corral - Children's presents bicycle safety and car seat installation tips
Toddler Town with a developmentally appropriate play experience for the 3 & under crowd
Sportz Zone - Presented by FSN and the Pittsburgh Pirates
Petting Zoo
Kids Karaoke-presented by Comcast
Cartoon Camp - Appearances by Dora the Explorer, Spiderman and Curious George
Army PLS River Rescue Vehicle to explore plus family activity presented by Operation Troop Appreciation

WHEN: Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.

WHERE: David L. Lawrence Convention Center,Downtown Pittsburgh
