The Healing Power of Art
Guests Invited To Sponsor Artwork That Will Be Displayed at New Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC
Pittsburgh, Pa. -
February 26, 2009
-
WHAT: With Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC’s young patients and their families in mind, the James Gallery staff and the hospital’s Art Committee selected artwork for display in the new hospital to comfort, uplift and entertain, to educate, and to nurture positive memories and a lifetime appreciation for The Healing Power of Art.
Hosted by Clifford and Diane Rowe, the evening will offer guests the opportunity to preview the unique collection and consider sponsoring one of the pieces that will enliven the walls of the new Children’s Hospital.
Pieces range in value, starting at $500. Pledges can be honored over as many as three years. A tax-deductible gift can sponsor a work of art and will be accompanied by an inscription to recognize the generosity of its donor.
Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres catered by Chef Robert Sendall, All In Good Taste Productions.
WHEN: 6:30 – 9 p.m.
Friday, Feb.27, 2009
WHERE: James Gallery
