Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation Announces Appointment of Key Leadership
Pittsburgh, Pa. -
April 22, 2002
-
Ronald L. Violi, president and chief executive officer of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, announced today the appointment of Patricia L. Siger to chief development officer of the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation.
In this role, she will oversee the Foundation’s day-to-day operations and will work closely with Ronald Violi, president, and the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, to further develop the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
Siger comes to Children’s from Family House where she served as executive director since 1993. While at Family House, Siger maintained a balanced operating budget and grew the Family House endowment program. She also has managed Family House’s three residential facilities, which provide affordable, comfortable accommodations for patients and families who travel to Pittsburgh for treatment of serious or life-threatening illnesses. Family House serves more than 7,000 families a year.
Siger, a graduate of Duquesne University, is an active member of several community organizations, including serving as a member of the Board of the Jewish Healthcare Foundation and the Board of the Allegheny County Medical Society Foundation. She also serves as chair of Working Hearts, a new women’s health initiative in Allegheny County. She will join the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation in early June.
