Iraqi Patient Has Final Plastic Surgery Appointment at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Before Returning Home

WHAT:
On the morning of Monday, July 24, 2006, Abdul Hakeem will have his final clinic appointment with Dr. Deleyiannis.
Following the appointment, Children's will hold a press conference to update the status of Abdul Hakeem's recovery from several surgical procedures. The surgeries - performed by Dr. Deleyiannis and Tonia Stefko, MD, a surgeon at UPMC Eye & Ear Institute - have repaired scars from injuries Abdul Hakeem suffered in a bombing in his hometown of Fallujah in Iraq.
Abdul Hakeem and his father, Ismaeel, plan to depart Pittsburgh to return home to Iraq the following afternoon, Tuesday, July 25, 2006.
