New Hospital Campus
In the spring of 2009, Children’s Hospital will open a new 10-acre campus just a short drive from the current hospital in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood. Designed with input from physicians, nurses and families to ensure that patients receive care in a comfortable setting, the hospital will be a benchmark for quality care built on five principles including: family-centered care, patient-safety and quality, technological sophistication, green campus and quiet building.
