Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Relapse Study

Treatment of Late Isolated Extramedullary Relapse from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Protocol Description

The purpose of this Children's Oncology Group study is to see if more intense chemotherapy used with less radiation therapy can bring about a remission in patients who have experienced a relapse from acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Treatment within this 6-phase study will include intense reception of anti-cancer drugs that have been shown to work in fighting cancer while causing less long-term side effects.

Eligibility Criteria

Patients who have been diagnosed with ALL and have had a relapse will be asked to participate.
Males: 18 months to 29 years
Females: 18 months to 29 years

Requirements
Participants will undergo an intense chemotherapy regimen throughout a 2-year period, with drug treatment administered in various methods.
