Candidates must be willing to make a scheduled commitment for an extended period of time. Teen volunteers (14 years and older) may apply for the summer Teen Volunteer Program.

After the completed application packet is received and reviewed, the applicant will be contacted to schedule an interview. Volunteer candidates are required to have a tuberculosis test, complete a Child Abuse Clearance and Criminal Record Check and attend orientation prior to starting any patient-care volunteer assignment. Assignments and scheduling will be discussed at the interview. Children's Hospital will do its best to match your individual skills, interests and schedule to the needs of our patients, families and staff.
