Treating Hodgkin's with Bortezomib, Ifosfamide and Vinorelbine
Study of Bortezomib in Combination with Ifosfamide/Vinorelbine in Pediatric Patients and Young Adults with Refractory/Recurrent Hodgkin Disease
Protocol Description
This Phase II research trial is studying the effectiveness of giving bortezomib together with ifosfamide and vinorelbine in treating young patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma that is recurrent or that did not respond to previous therapy. Researchers will evaluate response rates and side effects experienced by participants in the study.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible candidates include children and young adults up through age 29 with Hodgkin disease that did not get better after initial treatment or that went away and then came back.
Males: Up through age 29
Females: Up through age 29
Requirements
Patients will receive chemotherapy as prescribed by the study protocol. Blood counts and peripheral blood stem cells monitored to determine patient response. Treatments will be repeated every 21 days for up to 2 or 4 courses.
Visits: The number of visits will vary depending on the participant’s response to treatments.
Duration: Following treatment, participants’ medical condition will be monitored for up to 5 years.
