Danielle Sebbens, RN, MSN, CRNP

Danielle Sebbens, RN, MSN, CRNP, is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with the Intestinal Care and Rehabilitation Center and is a member of the clinical faculty for the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.  A Pennsylvania native, she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned her advanced degrees at the University of Pittsburgh.  She is currently enrolled in the Doctorate of Nursing Practice program at Robert Morris University.

Ms. Sebbens’ experience includes working as nurse for a pediatrician; as a nurse on the pediatric unit of Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.; staff nurse and nurse manager on the pediatric unit of The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, S.C., where she was named Nurse of the Year; and staff nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, S.C. While completing her master’s in nursing at the University of Pittsburgh, she worked as a staff nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.  She began working in Children’s gastroenterology division following her graduation from the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at the university and continued in this role for more than seven years.

She has also been involved with a variety of local, state and national nursing organizations, including President of the Three Rivers Chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She currently serves as the Education Chair.
