Biography Summary
Elissa Baker Gittes, MD, sees adolescent and young adult patients in Oakland and at Chidlren's North. She specializes in eating disorders, menstrual problems, general adolescent health, and is trained in colposcopy to evaluate young adults with abnormal Pap smears. Her medical degree is from Harvard Medical School. She is board certified with the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatrics and adolescent medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in adolescent medicine at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center. She has been published in Pediatrics in Review, Journal of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and Adolescent Medicine Clinics of North America, among others.
