If your child is a Children's patient and has the flu

If your child is a patient here at Children’s Hospital and has the flu or symptoms of the flu (regardless of what strain of flu), he or she will be placed in isolation precautions to prevent spreading the flu to other people. You as a parent will be asked to wear a mask when outside of your child’s room to prevent spreading the flu to other people. As an additional precautionary measure, we ask that only two adult visitors at a time accompany or visit with your child. Other children should not visit the hospital if possible.
