Greg Barrett joined Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation as president and chief development officer in February 2010.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Mr. Barrett served as associate vice chancellor for health sciences development at the University of California, San Diego, where he was responsible for raising funds for the university’s school of medicine, school of pharmacy and pharmaceutical science, and the medical center.
He also was the associate vice president of institutional advancement and institutional strategy at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, and held development positions at Chicago’s Children’s Memorial Foundation and the Chicago Historical Society.
Raised in West Virginia, Mr. Barrett earned a master’s degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, and a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
