Research Interests
Dr. Jaffe is interested in the histiocytic disorders of childhood, Langerhans’ cell histiocytosis and related dendritic cell disorders, familial and acquired hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, Rosai-Dorfman disease and juvenile xanthogranuloma. A consultation review service is offered. Dr. Jaffe is on the scientific committee of the Histiocyte Society and the steering committee of Nikolas Symposium for the Histiocytoses. The pathology of pediatric transplantation, liver and small bowel and liver diseases of childhood are other interests.
