Hobbies/Interests
I love sports, playing and watching them, so I am excited about the clay tennis courts in Frick park, and watching the Pirates and Penguins. I enjoy reading, especially on my kindle. I also really enjoy policy and politics, which is partially why I got my MPH in health policy.
Travels/Languages
I love to travel and have been to Bolivia, Ecuador (the Galapagos) and Peru in South America. I have also been to England and France. In the US I have been to 43 of the states and still want to make it to the rest. I can speak some Spanish and am constantly trying to become fluent, but haven’t gotten there yet.
Like About Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC
Pittsburgh has a great triple board program with a top peds program and psych program. I did a month here and really enjoyed all the faculty and staff and was amazed with the diversity of pathology seen here. I also think that the CORE program and the AACE program are great opportunities in learning how to be a child advocate and a better teacher.
