Anne Marie Kuchera, MS, MA, RD

Behavioral Therapist

Anne Marie Kuchera, MS, MA, RD, is a registered dietitian and board-eligible national certified counselor. She joined Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC’s Weight Management and Wellness Center in 2007.  Her professional experience is broad and for over 12 years, she has worked in a variety of settings including clinical and public health nutrition, community and worksite-based health promotion, and behavior change counseling for weight management and wellness.  In addition, Ms. Kuchera facilitates continuing education programs for health professionals on the topic of motivational interviewing for behavior change and is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers. 

Ms. Kuchera received a Bachelor of Science degree in clinical dietetics and nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh, and dual masters’ degrees from Chatham University in counseling psychology and organizational/community psychology.
