About Children's
News Release RSS Feed
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a free, subscription- based content delivery service that provides a convenient way to follow news and events on your favorite websites all in one place.
Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC’s News Release RSS Feed is updated whenever a new release is posted to Children’s Hospital’s website. Our feed displays the headline, summary, and link to the full article for each release we post in addition to access to other related and media information.
There are several ways to receive RSS feeds.
- Newer web browsers (Internet Explorer version 7.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox 2.0 or higher, or Safari 4.0 or higher) have RSS reader functionality built in. If you do not have the most recent version of your browser, you can upgrade it for free. Please note that the Google Chrome browser does not currently support RSS.
- Personalized homepages (My Yahoo!, etc.) offer RSS reader functionality and are free to join.
- E-mail applications like MS Outlook version 7.0 or higher have the RSS reader functionality built in.
- Install a news reader, also called an aggregator. To find a reader, search on the term "RSS news reader" or "RSS news aggregator" from your favorite search engine. Many applications are available for free and are easy to set up.
