The upper respiratory tract includes the:

  • nasal cavity
  • sinuses
    • ethmoid
    • frontal
    • maxillary
    • sphenoid
  • larynx
  • trachea

The functions of the upper respiratory tract are to move air to and from the lungs, and to filter, moisten, and warm the air.
