Pediatric Nephrology

The Pediatric Nephrology Department has been actively involved in various research projects over the years including investigations in the areas of diabetic nephropathy, polycystic kidney disease, interstitial nephritis, nephrotic syndrome and clinical outcomes of kidney transplantation in children. A new study on identification of genetic factors responsible for familial nephrotic syndrome and FSGS has been recently initiated.
