Highly Skilled Team
A multidisciplinary staff provides comprehensive patient care to children diagnosed with neurological disorders. The team includes highly skilled pediatric neurologists, epileptologists, electroencephalography (EEG) technologists, nurse practitioners, registered and licensed practical nurses, technicians and social workers. Close collaborative relationships with experts in Dietetics, Neurosurgery, Psychology, Child Psychiatry, Communicative Disorders, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pulmonology and Orthopedics allow Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
Also, Children’s Neurology faculty provides training in the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders to medical students, pediatric residents, Child Neurology residents, Child Psychiatry residents, Adult Neurology residents and epilepsy fellows.
