Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC offers a competitive compensation package and benefit options for prospective employees. Our compensation package and benefits are designed to provide personal security, convenience and assistance to employees and their eligible dependents.
- Competitive pay rates
- Paid-Time-Off (PTO) advance: UPMC offers radiologic technologists advance PTO based upon total years of relevant experience, as follows:40 PTO hours for at least one year, but fewer than five years of relevant work experience; 80 PTO hours for at least five years, but fewer than 15 years of relevant work experience; 120 PTO hours for 15 years or more of relevant work experience. Radiologic technologists must fulfill a one-year work commitment. Regular PTO is also accrued in addition to the advance PTO that is awarded.

Eligibility for benefits
Most benefits are effective the first of the month following the date of hire. Staffing classification, including full-time, flex full-time, job share and regular part-time, and work location determine eligibility and availability of the benefit plans in which you can participate.
