Biography Summary
Goutham Rao, MD, clinical director of the Center for Pediatric Weight Management and Wellness, is an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics in the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and director of medical informatics at UPMC St. Margaret. After graduating from the McGill University School of Medicine in Montreal, Canada, in 1993, Dr. Rao served a residency and earned a CCFP (a Certificate in Family Medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada) at St. Joseph's Health Centre at the University of Toronto. He held a faculty development fellowship at UPMC St. Margaret from 1996 to 1997.
