Research and Teaching
Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is a world-renowned research and teaching hospital and attracts many professionals-in-training in the disciplines of psychology, social work and medicine. Under the supervision of the CDU staff, families may work with a professional-in-training during their visit.
The CDU also sponsors various research programs in child development and developmental disabilities, and families may be invited to participate in a study. Participation is optional, and children receive the same high-quality care regardless of their participation.
