Student Research Training Program

The summer Student Research Training Program provides training for both undergraduate and graduate students in Health Sciences who wish to learn the rationale, design strategies, methods and other aspects of biomedical research as research assistants.

Research assistants engage in studies under the direct supervision of investigators who are members of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC's faculty and staff. In addition to the educational benefits, research assistants are also compensated.

Applications for the Summer 2009 Training Program are no longer being accepted. For answers to questions related to this program or to express interest for next years program, you may contact Lisa Gensler in Research Administration Manager at 412-692-5876.

Please visit this site early next year for more information about the Student Research Training Program for 2010.
