Window Safety
Did you know that windows can be dangerous? You can fall out of windows that aren’t locked and get hurt. Here are a few tips on how to keep safe near windows:
- Never open a window by yourself. Ask an adult for help.
- Never lean out of an open window.
- Never push or lean against a window screen. It could fall out of the window, and so could you.
- Never play with the cords that hang from window shades or curtains. They can get wrapped around your neck and cause you to choke.
