Biography Summary

Masahiro Yoshida, MD, joined Children's Division of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery after serving as an attending surgeon at Kobe Children's Hospital in Kobe, Japan. He received his PhD from Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine in 2009.
 
Dr. Yoshida's clinical and research interests include congenital heart disease and pediatric heart, heart-lung transplantation. He also designed the bicuspid valved polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) conduit for right ventricle to pulmonary artery in Kobe, Japan. This device is now being utilized for patients at Children's Hospital.
