Protocol Description
The purpose of this multi-center observational study is to determine how diet and nutritional supplements affect growth in infants with cystic fibrosis. Additionally, researchers hope to define an optimal method to measure growth of babies with cystic fibrosis.
Eligibility Criteria
Babies of both genders with cystic fibrosis can be enrolled in the study.
Babies: 2 weeks to 3-1/2 months old

The study requires a series of 1-hour visits for physical exams, including measurements (height, weight, breathing rate, etc.) and sample collection (blood, urine, etc.) at prescribed intervals. Study measurements will be done at the same time as the child’s regularly scheduled care visits. Children will be followed through the study until they are about 12 months old.
