This course is sponsored by: The chILD Foundation; The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Center for Continuing Education in the Health Sciences; and by Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine, Allergy, and Immunology

This course is designed to cover the most recent advances in the understanding of andapproach to interstitial lung disease in children including methods of detection, treatment, and research, as well as lessons learned from adult interstitial lung disease. Upon completion of the activity, learners from several disciplines should be able to describe how these recent advances can be applied into their practice; and further will be able to discuss the latest methods of detection, surveillance, treatment and research.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed primarily for physicians, researchers, advanced practice providers, and other health care clinicians and professionals practicing in the areas of pediatrics, pediatric pulmonary medicine, neonatology, and pediatric critical care as an introduction to, or update in, practical clinical care of infants and children with lung disease.
