Babysitter’s Training

Learn the ins and outs of caring for a child.

Babysitter’s Training is a Children’s Community Education class that covers the fundamentals of babysitting, including basic child care skills, injury prevention and handling emergencies. Children 11 and older are invited to take the class, which is taught by highly-trained pediatric nurses who have been certified by the American Red Cross. The class provides teens with an interactive, hands-on approach to practical babysitting tips. Once the full-day class is completed, participants will earn a American Red Cross Babysitter’s Certificate.
