Patients and Families

Food Services

Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC Food Services department provides meals and specialized formula to meet the individual needs of inpatients. Upon admission, your child will be introduced to the meal program and how it works. Patients may order meals daily from 7 a.m.–8 p.m. They may order anything they like, as long as it is within their diet order. The Nutrition Operator in the call center will be able to assist each patient.
