Getting Ready for Outpatient Surgery
Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC is pleased to offer you and your child a variety of diagnostic and surgical procedures through our outpatient surgery centers at our main campus in Lawrenceville and at Children's North, Wexford.
It is important for you as a parent or guardian to remember that any procedure involving anesthesia or sedation requires both the skills of highly trained medical and nursing personnel and your cooperation and understanding.
The pages in this section are designed to answer any questions that you and your child may have regarding admission to Children's outpatient surgery centers.
