Intestine Transplant Survival Rates
Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC has the highest three-year survival rates for intestine transplants in the country. Patients of Children’s pediatric intestinal transplant program represent the world’s first and most successful series of small intestine transplants.

Intestine Transplant Volumes
The Hillman Center for Pediatric Transplantation is one of the most active pediatric transplant centers in the nation. Our team has performed more pediatric transplants than any other center in the world – 1,626 abdominal transplants*, including 240 intestine transplants from 1990 to 2010.
