UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh has been performing intestine transplants for children for more than 30 years. We performed more than 200 intestine transplants from 1990 to 2007 alone. Our specialists have helped improve the quality of life for countless children whose lives were affected by intestinal disease.
