We offer numerous career opportunities for the experienced nurse—with and without pediatric experience. Inpatient units primarily schedule 12 hour shifts, but schedules may vary in other departments.

Orientation is tailored to a nurse’s previous experience and education. We provide an extensive orientation period for nurses who are transitioning from the adult setting to pediatrics. Orientation includes clinical time with competent preceptors along with blended learning experiences in the classroom.

At our facility the experienced nurse can choose from a variety of pediatric specialties. Inpatient units include:
