Osteosarcoma Tissue Banking Study
A Children’s Oncology Group Protocol for Collecting and Banking Osteosarcoma Specimens
Protocol Description
Through this protocol, researchers will collect and study tumor, blood and marrow tissue samples that are collected during patient treatment for osteosarcoma. Through tissue banking studies like this one, researchers can better understand osteosarcoma, how people respond differently to disease therapy and how to identify problems caused by osteosarcoma treatment.
Eligibility Criteria
Subject to certain exclusion criteria, the study is open to individuals of all ages, who have been diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma.
Males: All ages
Females: All ages
Requirements
With permission, tissue samples taken in the diagnosis or treatment of the participant’s condition will be preserved in the osteosarcoma tissue bank.
Visits: None beyond normal clinical care
Duration: Not applicable
