Pediatric Behavioral Health and Wellness Clinics
This new Pediatric Behavioral Health and Wellness program offers integrated, collaborative, and evidence-based behavioral health services within various divisions (or departments) in Children’s Hospital's outpatient clinics. Our goal is to support families and medical teams in providing comprehensive care to patients facing acute or chronic illness.
The first Pediatric Behavioral Health and Wellness clinics are scheduled to start in the following areas:
- Hematology/Oncology
- Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapies
- Diabetes/Endocrinology
- Neurology/Headache Clinic
Referral Requirements
Requests for services in your clinic may be generated by any member of your care team in collaboration and agreement with your attending physician at any point during the child’s course of illness. Please contact your child’s primary attending physician in the clinic for more information.
Referrals for patients enrolled in managed care insurance plans also may require pre- authorization from the insurance provider and primary care physician. In most cases, all necessary referral and authorization forms must be received before the patient's visit.
