Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC provides a full range of pediatric transplant services before, during, and after transplantation.

Children’s has performed more pediatric liver transplants than any other center in the United States, according to the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients.
In 2009, Children’s performed more than four times the number of pediatric liver transplants than the average pediatric center in the country.
At Children’s, the three-year survival rate for pediatric liver transplant patients is 95 percent compared to a national average of 88 percent.
Children’s is the leading center for pediatric living-donor liver transplantation, performing 80 living-donor liver transplants from program inception through July 2010.
