Physician Referral Service

Description of Services

Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC’s Physician Referral Service is a resource for families who are new to the area or who are seeking health care providers for their children. It provides assistance to families searching for primary care pediatricians and pediatric specialists.

Users are referred to physicians who best meet their needs based on factors such as location, office hours and insurance requirements.

The Physician Referral Service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Users can:

  • Call 412-692-PEDS (7337) to speak with a representative
  • Visit our Find a Doctor page and search online for a physician

Physicians also may use the Physician Referral Service to refer to a Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC pediatrician or pediatric specialist.
