Renal Tumors Classification, Biology and Banking Study
Protocol Description
The purpose of this Children's Oncology Group study is to collect tumor tissue samples for analysis, which will help researchers learn more about renal tumors, helping doctors to improve upon treatments and better prescribe them.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible candidates include patients of all ages who have been diagnosed with a kidney tumor, a tumor outside the kidney called a malignant rhabdoid tumor or an extra-renal Wilms tumor.
Boys: All ages
Girls: All ages
Requirements
With permission, a portion of the blood, urine and tumor tissue samples collected as part of normal clinical care for the condition will be put into the study for analysis. Copies of results of each participant’s imaging studies (ultrasound, MRI, CT, etc.) will also be provided to the study’s central review center for assessment.
Visits: None beyond normal clinical care
