Below is a list of events and programs for children diagnosed with rheumatic diseases and their families. Check back for updates.

Arthritis Walk 2013

Please join us on June 1st, 2013, at 8AM for the Arthritis Walk. The walk will take place at the SouthSide Works Surface Lot, Wharton St. Pittsburgh, PA 15203. Every year, people across the country move together to celebrate those who are making a positive impact on the lives of people living with arthritis. Camp JRA

Camp JRA (Juveniles Reaching Achievement) takes place the third week in July every year at Camp Victory in Millville, Pa. Camp JRA is the Arthritis Foundation's weeklong residential camp program for children between the ages of 8 and 18 with arthritis and other rheumatic diseases.

New! Flying Horse Farms Camp

This camp will host rheumatology and GI patients ages 8 to 15 every summer. Flying Horse Farms also hosts a sibling camp and family weekends. Get more information about Flying Horse Farms Camp.


Arthritis Foundation Family Days

The Great Lakes Region of the Arthritis Foundation hosts an annual Family Day event.  This event includes education for parents and fun, supervised activities for children of all ages. The events are open to all rheumatology families, including siblings. Scholarship Opportunities

The Lupus Inspiration Foundation for Excellence awards one or more sholarships each year to college students with systemic lupus erythematosus. Get details and information about applying.
