Heart Camp

June 9-15, 2024

What is Heart Camp?

Each year, more than 150 children ages 8-17 with heart conditions come from across the United States to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of camp Kon-O-Kwee Spencer YMCA in Fombell, Pa. (near Zelienople).

Campers are encouraged to make new friends, share their experiences, and participate in sports and other camp activities to the best of their abilities, without fear of being judged by others.

Physicians, nurses, volunteers, and other members of the Children's Hospital staff, as well as the camp directors, supervise activities throughout the weeklong event. Campers also have the opportunity to discuss issues and concerns related to their heart defect with their doctors, nurses, and peers. Learn More »
