TRIP Portal
Transplant Resource & Information Portal (TRIP)
For transplant patients and their families, the journey to recovery can be a long one. Our job is to make the trip as easy as possible.
Visit or log-on to the TRIP Portal.
What is TRIP?
The Transplant Resource & Information Portal (TRIP) is a secure, password-protected web portal to provide parents, legal guardians, patients and physicians with instant access to medical information following transplant surgery at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC's Hillman Center for Pediatric Transplantation.
The portal enables the tracking of lab results, medications, forms, and other information to make the journey through the transplant process easier for patients and families.
TRIP can be accessed by parents and legal guardians as well as other physicians involved in a patient's care.
For Parents and Patients
TRIP enables parents, legal guardians and patients to track lab values, medication doces, immunosupressants, and other medically-related information following a child's transplant surgery.
For Physicians
Through the TRIP portal, physicans can access a patient's history including treatments, medications, procedure illustrations, department data, conditions, patient flow sheet, and the following lab reports:
- routine chemistries
- autoimmune
- cardiac enzymes
- endocrine
- hematolgoy
- HLA
- immunosupression
- lipoprotein labs
Eligibility
Participants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older or be the parent or legal guardian of an active transplant patient. The patient or parent/guardian also may grant access to referring physicians who are involved in the patient’s care.
