What to expect at your first visit

At your first visit to the Long-Term Follow-Up / Survivorship Clinic, here's what to expect:

  • History and physical exam will be taken
  • Review of your personalized treatment summary
  • Laboratory studies by venipuncture (drawn from your arm, rather than a fingerstick)
  • Collection of a urine sample

What to expect at later visits

  • History and physical exam
  • Review of your updated personalized treatment summary
  • Laboratory studies by venipuncture or fingerstick
  • Collection of a urine sample
  • Diagnostic testing based on your treatment, for example, echocardiogram, bone density test, or hearing test
